Trader Joes carries a lot of organically raised produce, from what I understand. It may mean that it contributed nothing. The numbers are sourced at the bottom of the page, so you should be able to check these out.
Interesting how all the most expensive stores donate to the Democratic party. >:( Especially Starbucks... what the fuck? I hate those fuckers.
I knew there was a reason I liked getting gas at Shell (not to mention they have the cheapest gas in Murfreesboro, where I attend college and most frequently have to fill up). And fuck.. Red Lobster?! Why?! ;_;
...costco? They have really great values. And cheesecake!
And most companies make obscenely huge profits even with low cost to the buyer. Most of the "overpriced stuff" out there actually creates less profit since it cost much more to produce and develop new products. But starbucks is just good yuppie food. ^^
Democrats have Borders and BN, Republicans have Busch, Coors, and Jack Daniels.
What this doesn't explain is Brinker International (Maggiano's, Brinker Cafe, Chili's, On the Border, Macaroni Grill, Crazymel's, Corner Baker, EatZis). Such good taste in food, yet so so wrong... -.-
Democrats have Guinness!! (Which is much better beer than Coors and Busch anyway.) So yeah, there were alcohol companies giving to Democrats, so don't generalize like that.

That explains a good deal of the book selections in Borders.

I got the feeling that the author liked the place, but didn't like the results. We were not given the numbers to judge for ourselves.
