We brought him home fromt the vet this evening. He's very much acting like he's getting reacquainted with something that has become unfamiliar. I showed him where the food, water and litterbox are but he has yet to eat. I wish they had sent me home with some wet food. That's always more enticing to cats than dry, and he may need some inducement to eat. That's the way it goes with hepatic lipidosis. Of course there are a lot of threads he needs to pick up; Maeve and Willie both spent Thanksgiving weekend down here so he is, of course, picking up their scents and sorting out the story.

He was just about to eat when the phone rang and startled him. Blasted telemarketer too.

Well, he'll get to it sooner or later, I'm sure. He's begun another circuit of the room.
