I wouldn't make the inference from a single Mormon. I know from the RCC that one can hardly know a faith from a single layman. And it occurs to me that "The Romans killed Jesus" need not mean all Romans, just the ones involved. But you're probably right about him hating Jews.
From what I hear, Mormons have a disproportionate history of white supremacy. Persisting anti-Jewish sentiment would hardly surprise me.
