Have you noticed?

When a new OS Comes out from Microsoft, people upgrade reluctantly and without enthusiasm, often clinging to their old versions of Windows until there's some app that won't run on them or until MS rolls back support.

But when Apple releases a new OS, the whole community is like "Yippee!" and they stand in line for the new OS like people used to for new Harry Potter books or like they used to for Star Wars films before the franchise jumped the shark.

Yeah. Mac users also talk a lot about OS 9 vs X or whatever. Windows users only talk about which OS they're using when something goes wrong.

I'm going to pick up a copy of Tiger, probably today sometime. I still haven't upgraded my work computer to XP SP-2 because, with Windows, if something works I'm afraid to mess with it. I've stared into the "Blue Screen Of Death" way too many times. That was why I bought a Mac in the first place.
