Or at least correlates well. I'd be careful of "explains" references, as they tend to be a bit broad -- but this one is certainly suggestive.
I'm intrigued by the notion at "Trader Joes": "Basically apolitical for contributions but espouses progressive values"
I got the feeling that the author liked the place, but didn't like the results. We were not given the numbers to judge for ourselves.

Trader Joes carries a lot of organically raised produce, from what I understand. It may mean that it contributed nothing. The numbers are sourced at the bottom of the page, so you should be able to check these out.
