Speech acts have consequences. A film is a fairly significant speech act. While Gibson is certainly free to engage in whatever speech acts he wishes, I wonder what the outcome of this one will be.
I also think that Jesus is going to be doling out dope slaps to a lot of self professed Christians, Falwell and Gibson among them.
