How much money does the GOP PAY this man?

That friggin' cowflop Nader's gonna run again!

Good god! When is that moron going to learn. He beats Bush hands down for being the single most destructive force in American politics. Even taken on his own merits, he is one of those people who would establish a totalitarian society in the name protecting morons form their own stupidity.

But I think I've come up with a good slogan:

Ralph Nader: Deadly in any election year.

Urrrgh, I feared as much... having learned from the Gubernator that one doesn't publicly pre-announce the date on which one will announce one's decision whether or not to run unless that decision is affirmative. (Wow, that's a convoluted way to say that.) If the GOP is behind this, then the Dems should sponsor a run by, say, Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity.

Or Roy Moore.

As to Nader... he isn't even running under the Green ticket, so no one can vote for him hoping to give the Green party equal funding. So Nader's run is purely egomaniacal, and as a result he'll tank big time.

I propose a universal egomaniac campaign sign:

PEROT in '96
BUCHANAN 2k
NADER in '04

There are no profanities in the English language bad enough for this. One of the things that really ticks me off about Nadir and his followers is their arrogance. Their "vote your conscience, not your fears" slogan, and the general way they smugly assume that they really represent the wishes of liberal/progressive voters, really gets under my skin. No, Ralph Nader does not "really" represent me better than a traditional Democratic candidate would. I do not want to see him in the White House. He represents the worst strands of Big Daddy Liberalism: 'No sorry, you can't make your own choices if those choices might lead to you getting hurt. It's just too dangerous, and we absolutely have to keep anything bad from ever happening to anybody at all costs'. I am not failing to vote my conscience when I choose someone other than him. I don't want my life choices dominated by either the Bush/Robertson/Falwell version of morality OR the Nader version of consumer protection.
