There are no profanities in the English language bad enough for this. One of the things that really ticks me off about Nadir and his followers is their arrogance. Their "vote your conscience, not your fears" slogan, and the general way they smugly assume that they really represent the wishes of liberal/progressive voters, really gets under my skin. No, Ralph Nader does not "really" represent me better than a traditional Democratic candidate would. I do not want to see him in the White House. He represents the worst strands of Big Daddy Liberalism: 'No sorry, you can't make your own choices if those choices might lead to you getting hurt. It's just too dangerous, and we absolutely have to keep anything bad from ever happening to anybody at all costs'. I am not failing to vote my conscience when I choose someone other than him. I don't want my life choices dominated by either the Bush/Robertson/Falwell version of morality OR the Nader version of consumer protection.
