Sep. 16th, 2006 09:34 pmGas prices are falling. The will dip below $2.00 a gallon in markets whose local taxes allow them to before election day. They will trend upwards afterwards. They will peak at a lower plateau if democrats take the house than if republicans, but this last is impossible to verify, so its more a pontification than a prediction.
Osama Bin Laden will release a tape during the last week of October/First week of November endorsing the Democratic party. Please bear in mind that the man has a degree in enginnering, and has run an extremely effective SOCIAL engineering orgnanization for decades. He is not so foolish as to imagine that Americans who have not made up their minds will vote Democratic on HIS word. An endorsement of Democrats from him indicates a wish for a Republican victory. This is an easy prediction - there is precedent.
