Various and Sundry
May. 16th, 2004 11:19 pmActually got this week's Cat-Tharsis into the hopper this morning. That frees me to do some writing for HaNozri so Morgan can illustrate the next bit, as well as getting this week's HaNozri lettered at a reasonable pace. Jewish Mysticism class ended last week so Monday night is available for both these endeavors as well as a little piece of Art for Art's Sake that I'm doing featuring Bess. We'll see if that comes out any good.
Morgan bought Hostas this weekend. She's been resistant to the idea of Hostas as long as we've had this place, but these weekend, after I made it clear that I was cloistering myself to draw, and NOT going to the garden store, she said "and you won't mind if I come home with Hostas?" I assured her I wouldn't, because I've been wanting them for years. So she came home with "Striptease" and "Loyalist" varieties, two plants each, and planted them by the front steps. I mulched them with some hay from the garden, and I reckon that next week, I'm going to the garden store, because I'm on the hook for the next batch.
Last night, we hit the Sushi bar and had our usual treats. Today we visited the art store, because the Schminke watercolors of which Morgan is so fond are on sale, and my black Pitt brush pen needed replaced. I also picked up a new mechanical pencil.
