Here is a synopsis of the Clark case:

Jamar Clark hit his girlfriend badly enough that an ambulance was called.
When the ambulance arrived at the scene, he menaced the paramedics. They called for police support.
When the police arrived, he refused to comply with any orders given and struggled for an officer's gun.
He was shot.
Everyone cried "Racism."

Our present case is the exact opposite in the following ways;

1, Where Jamar Clark's encounter was precipitated by his own criminal action (hitting his girlfriend), Castile's encounter was precipitated when a squad chose to pull him over for an equipment.

2. Whereas Clark struggled with police, Castile made every effort to comply, and was shot over a verbal misunderstanding.

Oh, and I am not inclined to second guess Castile's actions. Traffic stops are always confrontations with Power, and even I, a white man, find them intimidating. I can only imagine how much more so it was for Castile. I can see myself acting as he acted.
